About this Position
Berman Hebrew Academy, in Rockville, MD, seeks a full time Humanities (English Language Arts and History) for the 2021-21 school year. The ideal candidate will have a BA/MA degree in secondary education or subject area, three or more years of high school classroom teaching experience, and a commitment to helping students become insightful readers, critical thinkers, accomplished writers, and engaged learners. Additionally, the candidate should be able to teach different types of learners and different levels of students, including at the AP level. Candidates must be able to work collaboratively within and outside of the department and demonstrate an interest in ongoing professional growth.
