Berman Returns to In-Person Learning

October 11, 2020

Berman Hebrew Academy opened its doors to all 4 divisions, Preschool – 12th grade, in September and October. Our Preschool, Lower School, and Middle School students are learning full-time on campus, while our Upper School students have a two-grade weekly rotation.

We have also equipped our classrooms with 360 degree Owl cameras and large televisions so our long-term virtual learners can remain connected to their classrooms.

In July 2020, our administrative team shared our Shuva B’Shalva Blueprint with the community. The Blueprint outlines the risk mitigation factors our community is taking including daily symptoms checks, face coverings, physical distancing, hand hygiene, and sanitization. In addition, our Decision Tree outlines the steps we will take should suspected or confirmed cases of COVID-19 arise in our community.

Families are also expected to follow risk mitigations outside of school, including mask wearing, physical distancing, limiting travel, and quarantining as necessary.

We are grateful for the opportunity to return to in-person learning and the dedication of our faculty and staff.
