Upper School History Teacher (2024-2025)

Berman Hebrew Academy is a Modern Orthodox Jewish Day School seeking dynamic educators for the 2023-2024 school year. We are seeking a passionate, creative and nurturing Upper School History Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. 

The ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelor’s degree in history or related field
  • Teaching certification and / or master’s degree strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years high school classroom teaching experience
  • The ability to teach a variety of History & Social Studies topics and with a student population of varying ability levels is required.
  • The ideal candidate will have a desire to work with Upper School students in a supportive college-preparatory environment.
  • Candidates should possess basic computer literacy as well as strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Interest in serving as Mock Trial coach, Model UN Advisor, or Advisory would be beneficial.
